Looking for Stowe VT real estate? My goal is to help you find the best house in the best location based upon your lifestyle preferences. So getting to know you is a critical first-step in the home buying process.
The Stowe area is broken up into numerous small communities that are vastly different from one another. The more I know about what’s important to you and your family, the better I’ll be able to focus our search.
The house-hunting process can be as action-packed or slow-moving as you want. It all depends on what’s going on in your life and your sense of immediacy in the Stowe VT home search. You set the pace. Here’s how it normally works:
- Initial meeting. We’ll schedule a time to meet and discuss your goals and priorities. You’ll ask me questions, and I’ll ask you questions. Having lived in the Stowe area for over a decade, I can give you a really good sense of Stowe properties that might be a good match for you based upon your interests and lifestyle preferences. We can discuss Stowe and the surrounding communities and determine which areas you would like to focus on in your home buying search.
- Showings. I’ll put together a list of homes that fit your criteria, and we’ll schedule our first morning or afternoon of showings. We can see as many homes as needed, until you’ve comfortably zeroed in on a few favorites.
- Thinking it through. Once you’ve narrowed your selection, I think an important aspect of my job is helping you think ahead. What will life potentially look like five or ten years down the road? What is important to you now, and how might that change over time? Life changes can affect how well the home works for you. Major variables include location, floor plan, size, and price point.
- And since I live here year-round, I can help you anticipate the pros and cons of a particular Stowe area property and its location. (Some roads are easier to negotiate than others during the winter months.)
Contact me for more information about buying a home in Stowe Vermont or a town nearby. I'd be happy to answer any of your questions or provide you with some advice for your home search. You can also take a look at my current listings or start your own search.
Buying your first home should be an empowering, exciting experience, not wrought with fear and anxiety. If you’re a first-time homebuyer, you’re probably going to have more questions than someone who’s looking for a retirement or secondary home. So we’ll take our time walking through each step of the process. And I’ll make myself available to answer your questions as they come up. I’d much rather over-communicate than under-communicate when you’re making one of the most important decisions of your life.
