The community of Stowe, and all others in Vermont, are generous when it comes to helping those in need. This is typically a time of year to be thinking of our neighbors, and where we can help.
The following organizations are in continual need of donations in order to support them throughout the year:
The Lamoille Community Food Share in Morrisville provides food security around Lamoille County. You can drop off food items, volunteer your time at the Food Share, or make a donation through their website. You can also find them on Facebook.
We at Carlson Real Estate are collecting for the Lamoille Neighborhood Food Project, throughout the year so please feel free to drop off any canned goods you might like to contribute.
Green Mountain Habitat For Humanity, located in Morrisville, has been building affordable and energy-efficient homes for low-income working families in north western Vermont. You can donate funds, labor, materials, and services to help ensure the availability of affordable homes for Vermonters for generations to come.
The Lamoille Family Center in Morrisville receives calls and visits from families experiencing crises, every day. The nurturing staff educate and support families through home, community and center based services; and they are always in need of volunteers. You can drop off food, gift and gas cards, and find out about other ways you can help by going to their website.
