About Meg Kauffman
Meg has lived in Stowe since 2003. She and her husband decided to relocate from the Boston area because they’d grown weary of long commutes and interminable lines of traffic. They wanted a simpler, more relaxed lifestyle in a quintessential New England town, without limiting their childrens' academic and recreational opportunities.
Their kids have grown up walking to and from school; skiing all winter; swimming, biking, and hiking all summer; and feeling like they have a place in their community.
They all met more lifelong friends in two weeks than in two years in Boston; and found that opportunities to get involved and become a part of the town’s vibrant lifestyle were endless.
Over the years, Meg has served on boards for the Stowe Cooperative Nursery School, Stowe Free Library, Stowe Land Trust, TRIP Dance Company, and the Lamoille Area Board of Realtors. Meg received the esteemed Realtor Of The Year award, from the Lamoille Area Board of Realtors, in 2015/2016.
Meg's family includes her husband who is an avid trail runner, enjoying Stowe’s extensive and ever-expanding trail network; a daughter who spends most of her afternoons at the Stowe Dance Academy, which is arguably one of the best dance programs in New England; and a son who plays soccer and runs cross-country. Both kids have participated in the Mount Mansfield Ski Club.
Stowe keeps residents and families busy enjoying the great outdoors with friends who share similar interests. This is what makes living in Stowe a truly unique experience.
